New Year's Eve

After taking a Superstorm hiatus, Ocean County continues the tradition of its alcohol free, family friendly, 'First Night' festivities in Seaside Heights this year.

On Christmas Day, Diane and I were trying to make plans to spend a day with my parents down in Cape May. We chose Friday, but by Friday morning, I was already fighting the Man Flu.

Hundreds of thousands of revelers crowded into New York City's Times Square to watch the crystal-covered ball make its annual descent and gathered around New Jersey to ring in the start of 2013.

We're going to make a pretty huge statement right now ladies and gents, so brace yourselves: photobombing is hands down the best way to capture any sort of moment. Ruining a picture with that unexpectedly hilarious face or the addition of a random stranger in a photo simply adds that extra oomph needed to bring a picture to the next level. Plus, it's just funny stuff.

When it comes time to celebrate the passing of another year, people around the world often gather together and make a lot of noise in order to demonstrate their good cheer.

It's true the holidays are easily the greatest time of year, but it can also be the most exhausting. After so much preparation, it sort of feels like we want to nap for weeks. It also doesn't help that we ate our weight in ham and stuffing and chocolate, so we're currently nursing a major food hangover. But it's time to rally, people! According to the U.S. Government, two of the biggest New Year's resolutions, year after year, are to 'get fit' and 'lose weight'. I am right there with you, telling myself --THIS will be the year!! -- so trust me, I get it, but as a regular gym goer, there's nothing more annoying than the January rush at the gym.

It's fair to say we probably won't be seeing him in Gaga's next music video (as that's how her relationship with Taylor Kinney all started), other celebrity couples followed their example and celebrated New Year's with a little romance.
