Take a SPIN on an AP Scooter

As we broadcast live from the boardwalk in Asbury Park, I've noticed people zipping around on scooters and thought, "that looks like way too much fun!"  The use of scooters is becoming more popular around the country, so a pilot program has been implemented in AP.  A fun ride is just one of the benefits...other advantages of a scooter ride include less traffic, easier parking and environmentally friendly.  Some of the basic rules for the scooter experience is that you have to be 18+ to rent, avoid riding on sidewalks, yield to pedestrians and wear a helmet.  There are designated parking spots, just look for the scooter emblem around the city.
