The 2017 Ultimate Jersey Shore Summer Bucket List

There's nothing quite like summer at the Jersey Shore...there's so much to see and do!

The real challenge is seeing just how many things you can accomplish before the season ends!

1. Visit every beach in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
2. Spend a day at Six Flags Great Adventure.
3. Try the Extra-Extra Large Pizza Challenge at Pete & Elda's in Neptune. (Psh, who needs a summer bod? Cover the post-pizza gut with the t-shirt you win!)
4. See how many different animals you can find at Popcorn Park Zoo.
5. Grab a bite at the Asbury Park North Eats Food Truck court.
6. Walk/Run the Bowl at Holmdel Park.
7. Visit the Twin Lights lighthouse/museum in Highlands.
8. Go to a Lakewood Blueclaws game.
9. Go on a "Jersey Devil Hunt" in the Pine Barrens. (I'd leave that alone though...you really want to mess with that?)
10. Make a food donation to FulfillNJ (formerly the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.)
11. Take in a show at Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank.
12. Watch a concert at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel.
13. Eat a meal at a waterfront restaurant (I vote for Bay Pointe Inn in Highlands or Chef Mike's ABG in South Seaside Park but there are LOTS of other great options!)
14. Win a prize on the boardwalk.
15. Leave a love lock on the Point/Manasquan inlet.
16. Complete the Most Instagram-Worthy Jersey Shore Food Trail.
17. Visit the Monmouth County Fair.
18. Spend a night with friends at an Asbury Park bonfire on the beach!
19. Watch the sunrise over the ocean.
20. Watch the sunset from Belmar Marina or over Barnegat Bay.
21. See drag races and jet-fuel cars at Raceway Park in Englishtown (or check out the races at Wall Stadium Speedway.)
22. Navigate at least one traffic circle.
23. Catch a show at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
24. Visit a pick-your-own farm and get the freshest Jersey tomatoes, peaches, cherries, blueberries and strawberries (Obviously don't pass up the Jersey sweet corn either but you'll want to let them pick that!)
25. Spend a rainy day at iPlay America in Freehold.
26. Visit The Chegg on LBI.
27. Go to the top of Barnegat Lighthouse. (Maybe a night climb?)
28. Check out some of the Weird NJ paranormal sites (at your own risk, of course.)
29. Wave to the penguins at Jenkinson's Aquarium.
30. Channel your inner pirate.
31. Watch a movie on the beach in Belmar, Point Beach, or Seaside.
32. Order a crazy omelette from Amy's in Long Branch (Hawaiian or French Brie, anyone?)
33. Take in a horse race at Monmouth Park or Freehold Raceway.
34. Get an ice cream soda or extra thick milkshake from Nagle's in Ocean Grove.
35. Volunteer for a local charity like Mary's Place by the Sea or the Ashley Lauren Foundation.
36. Visit us as we broadcast live from the New Jersey Natural Gas Asbury Park Boardwalk studio.
37. Win a prize from the Jersey Shore's Hit Music Channel!
