The weather is getting colder, and the days shorter, which means winter will be here before we know it.

It's no secret that it's my least favorite season, but I thought it might be a little more fun if we can make a game out of it! How many of these things can you cross off the list before spring arrives?

1. Check out Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Great Adventure.
2. See the free Holiday Express concert at the Red Bank Town Lighting.
3. Visit Santa at each local mall: Monmouth, Ocean County, and Freehold Raceway.
4. Go sledding!
5. Make a snow angel...on the beach!
6. See the Wall Christmas Light Show.
7. Spend an entire snow day snuggled up inside, watching movies, drinking hot chocolate, and maybe baking some cookies.
8. Head to a local town tree lighting.
9. Go caroling! (Or at least watch someone else do it...)
10. Watch the ice boats on the Navesink River.
11. Catch a snowflake on your tongue!
12. See Trans-Siberian Orchestra in concert. (We can help with this one - enter to win HERE!)
13. Escape the cold by heading someplace warm. (Mental vacations totally count, but we can help with this one too!)
14. Go on a horse and carriage ride.
15. Do a polar bear plunge at the Jersey Shore.
16. Go ice skating with friends at a local skating rink!
17. Build a snowman!
18. Build a gingerbread house. (Bonus points if you can make it look like a beach house.)
19. Spend New Year's Eve doing something fun, like the party cruise on the Seastreak!
20. Pretend like you're going to stick with your New Year's resolutions and then fail like the rest of us.
21. Start the 52-week money challenge!
22. Spend Valentine's Day at one of the Jersey Shore's best restaurants. (Friend dates are absolutely allowed!)
23. Donate to or volunteer at the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
24. Organize or take part in a town-wide snowball fight!
25. Count down the days until summer is back at the Jersey Shore.
