The 5 Stages of Snow at the Jersey Shore
You know how there's the five stages of grief? Denial, Anger, etc...?
I'm pretty sure it applies to snowstorms at the Jersey Shore too. Where are you in the Five Stages of Snow?

Denial
"Snow? Pfft, they always say it's gonna be some big storm. It's gonna be a bust...I doubt we'll even get a coating."

Anger
"WHY?? I can't believe this, it's so unfair! Why does it have to snow right in the middle of the morning commute? I have a huge presentation due at work, and I don't know what the heck I'm gonna do if the kids wind up not having school. WHY DO WE LIVE WHERE IT'S COLD?!?!?"

Bargaining
"I swear, if the snow isn't so bad this time, I'll be totally okay with the next one...I'll even go sledding or have some fun with it! If this storm could just be a non-event, I'll never complain about snow again (I mean I'll really TRY...)!"

Depression
"It's just so miserable and gray outside that I don't even want to get out of bed. Summer is so far away, and I'm just not in the mood to talk to anyone or do anything...winter just really bums me out."

Acceptance
"Well...it's happening. All I can do is be prepared for it and deal with it as it comes...what's that snow math? A bottle of wine per inch, right?"
