I love living at the Jersey Shore. It's a little slice of utopia! We have great people, cool places to spend time at, and each weekend I feel like there is always something fun to be a part of, especially when the outdoor temperature gets warmer...

I am thrilled to get the word out about The Beer Run 5k! The run is back and it will be happening on Saturday, April 23rd at the Historic Village at Allaire! Now is the time to plug it into your calendar, get your tickets, and start training for the run. Getting an easy workout and drinking beer with your friends, sounds like a tremendous Saturday...

Listen to Jimmy G on the Jersey Shore Morning Show with Lou & Shannon on 94.3 The Point & afternoons on Cat Country 96.7 & 104.1 and download our free Cat Country app.

Thanks to The Beer Run 5k organizers, here is more information about the event...

The 5K where your running buddies are your drinking buddies. Run (or walk) through a historic 1800s village and cross the finish line into a craft beer festival featuring some of the best beer and eats NJ has to offer.
Your ticket includes race registration, beers from participating breweries, a tasting glass, and festival access with live music, lawn games, food trucks, and more. Don’t feel like running? Grab a Beer Fest Only ticket and cheer your crew on at the finish line instead. Designated Driver tickets are also available for those who don't wish to indulge.
This event is part of the 200th Anniversary Celebration of Historic Village at Allaire in conjunction with the organizer of Run The Hook and Asbury Park Santa Run.
Brewery lineup includes Carton Brewing, Icarus Brewing Co., Source Brewing, Cape May Brewing Co., Alternate Ending Beer Co., Bolero Snort, Screamin' Hill Beer Farm, Last Wave Brewing Co, Red Tank Brewing, Bradley Brew Project, Ross Brewing, Twin Lights Brewing Co., Toms River Brewing, & Belford Brewing Co.
Please enjoy responsibly. The event is strictly for persons aged 21 or older. No children will be permitted entry. All attendees must present a valid ID before entry and are subject to a bag search by security.
We proudly purchase all of the beer from our participating breweries to support their businesses and the local craft beer community. The race will also be completely free of single-use plastic as a means to cut down on unnecessary plastic consumption and reduce our carbon footprint.
This event benefits Allaire Village, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit educational and historic preservation organization.
