It was back in 1939 and the World's Fair was taking place just across the river in New York City, and a New Jersey business was being formed to be a part of it. And that business is still going strong, and is the oldest fast food establishment in all of the Garden State.  Sounds like it's time for a road trip.

What an amazing piece of history it is, and it's not even that far away. Even though it's not the original location, you can visit this great local fast food place right in Hackensack, just about an hour away from the heart of Monmouth & Ocean Counties.

The place is White Manna, and it is already well known throughout the country and makes some of the most highly rated burgers in the country. This sounds like it would make a great road trip.

And if you've never seen the White Manna, you have to check it out. It is one of the great throwback restaurant in the entire state. What a great place! It's been highlighted by the Food Network, GQ and the Daily Meal.

The White Manna actually started doing their great work from the current location back in 1946, and if you want to read about it their awesome history, all you have to do is visit their website.

And while you're there, check out the incredible menu, and get yourself one of these legendary burgers. You're less than an hour away from a White Manna Burger!
