As we wake up this morning, there may be less snow on the ground than you might have expected, and that's good news, but it's not over yet.

According to Alan Kasper, there is still the possibility of several inches of snow for our area before it ends this afternoon. The storm's biggest snow impact is expected to affect counties south of Ocean County.

The wind and cold is another big factor today as the wind is making it feel 15 to 20 degrees colder than the temperature at times, and the mercury is expected to drop into the single digits tonight everywhere except the coast, where it will be only 12 degrees or so.

So it doesn't look like the calendar change to March has affected the brutally cold winter weather just yet. Hopefully, it will have an impact soon. Very soon. Hopefully.
