Meet Dakota, a beautiful Terrier mix. The Monmouth County SPCA says Dakota may be 8, but she is still full of spunk and sass!

Dakota came to the shelter when her owner in Freehold could no longer take care of her. But that hasn't gotten this girl down. Dakota is adored by all of the shelter staff and volunteer friends. They love taking her out for long walks, car rides and play dates in the park.

Dakota prefers to be the only dog in a home -- Queen of her castle, if you will. But this devoted pet is all you will ever need!
