Holiday Express, created by Tim McLoone 27 years ago, is a traveling concert series that performs well over 30 live shows in 30 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas for those in our area who get very few visitors -- including children with serious illnesses, the poor and homeless, the mentally and physically challenged, the isolated, and those in addiction and recovery programs.

The Holiday Express mission is to deliver music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those with the greatest need by showing them the gift of human kindness during the holiday season and throughout the year.

Each September there is usually an enormous fundraising Clam Bake on the beach. This year, however, Covid-19 has changed that. So now there is a virtual fundraiser taking place this Sunday, Sept. 13th, at 7 pm. And you're invited!

Enjoy an evening of virtual ocean breezes, entertainment from Holiday Express musicians, a look back at unforgettable past performances, cooking and cocktail demonstrations, and great silent auction items, hosted live by Holiday Express founder Tim McLoone.

Individual tickets are $50. You will receive a private link via text and/or email on the day of the event to view the party.

This year’s event will include several Holiday Express memories including a special performance from the Meadowlands Arena with Bruce Springsteen and Joe Piscopo, the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting, new recorded performances from Holiday Express volunteer Jersey Shore musicians like Tim McLoone himself, Layonne Holmes, Carl Gentry, Pat Guadagno, Jim Celestino, Sheldon Edmond, Amy Broza, Nicole Cocco, Gary Sfraga, and more!

There will also special tributes throughout the evening including one near and dear to my heart in honor of an amazing singer from the Jersey Shore who gave her all to Holiday Express and who we lost too soon to cancer (leaving behind a young son): BethAnne Clayton.

Here's why Holiday Express needs your help:

During the upcoming 2020 holiday season, Holiday Express will provide a virtual party for 100 locations. Holiday Express “visits” the mentally and physically challenged, the isolated, individuals in addiction and recovery programs, the poor and the homeless and children with serious illnesses.

Proceeds from this Sunday's Virtual Clambake will be used to improve the quality of life for 27,000 individuals who have come to depend on this organization.  Holiday Express is fully committed to providing holiday fun for all, including great holiday music and their unique dance party atmosphere (if you've ever been to the Count Basie theater to see the show, then you know what I'm talking about; If not, I highly suggest you get your tickets for this amazing event to see what it's all about.)

The men, women and children who are visited (even virtually this year) by Holiday Express will also continue to receive the customized duffle bags filled with essential personal items that are a signature part of the Holiday Express program.

So please, please, please get your virtual tickets now and support this amazing, original, unique organization that gives back to those who need it most.

And we're not the only ones thanking Tim McLoone for giving his blood, sweat, and tears all of these years to this amazing non-profit that he founded -- Tim was even inducted into the NJ Hall of Fame for it!

"See” you on Sunday,   September 13th!  (No rain date required as sunshine and good times are 100% guaranteed! ) GET YOUR TICKETS HERE!
