Toms River Couple Dies in Route 70 Accident

State police are looking into the cause of an accident that claimed the lives of a Toms River Couple in Burlington County late Monday morning. The Asbury Park Press reports that 41-year-old Stanley Gorski of the Monterrey Beach section of the Township drifted across route 70 in Southampton, striking a tree. His wife, 49-year old Carol Gorski was also pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
