However, public officials have a few warnings for residents before they attend.

The event has a maximum capacity of 500 people and once that cap is reached, residents will be turned away.

In addition, the parking situation near Shelter Cove Park is very limited and spots are expected to fill up fast.

Therefore....it is being suggested that residents watch the fireworks from alternative surrounding locations because the display will be visible elsewhere.

Here are other details released by police regarding the Toms River Fireworks show:

  • Shelter Cove beach and bathrooms will be closed to the public at 3:30 p.m., and vehicles must be removed from the parking lot closest to the beach.
  • There were be extra police officers and emergency personnel at the site.
  • A safety zone will be designated in the water and will be patrolled by police and fire personnel.
  • Choreographed music for the fireworks display will be broadcast on 95.9 The Rat (WRAT).

I hope you all have a lovely Fourth of July!
