TR Police Investigate Attempted House Breakin in Oakhurst

An attempted daytime house burglary on Oak Leaf Lane is the subject of an investigation in the Oakhurst Section of Toms River. Police say a resident describe a white male in his 20′s, stocky build, wearing a light blue and white striped shirt and beige shorts, attempting to pry a front door open Monday but was scared off by the resident and a dog.

According to witnesses the suspect was dropped off and later picked up by a older white male operating a cream colored luxury vehicle. Investigating are Sergeant Ted Grob and Officers Witold Paduch and Paul Burkhardt.
