The heartbreak of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy is evident all over the country and world and the NFL was no different. Victor Cruz of the New York Giants and the team itself paid tribute to the victims during yesterday's game.

Cruz wore the name of a six year old victim, Jack Pinto, on his shoes and gloves after hearing the child was a fan of the Giants and Cruz in particular. The entire team wore the intitials SHES on the back of their helmet as a tribute to the victims at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Throughout the NFL, players and fans remembered victims and their families with a moment of silence prior to the games.
