A Jersey Shore Wawa Has Permanently Closed

It is sad but true.

The Wawa in Waretown has permanently closed.

Residents started to speculate that the convenience store was undergoing a remodel or even possibly being relocated because it was closed and locked. And sadly, neither of those theories are true.

Wawa posted a letter to their customers stating that the location has been open for 26 years and has simply outgrown its location.

It looks like Waretown residents are going to have to find another source for their caffeine supply.
