We are all going crazy staying isolated and socially-distanced. Shelter animals feel that way all the time. It is so sad and stressful. Adopt a dog like this one.

Meet Lucas, our Poing Pet of the Week.

Lucas is a 3-year-old Pittie mix who was originally adopted as a puppy and then returned when his family could no longer keep him. This 58-pound ball of energy would love to go on plenty of walks and adventures with his new family.

Lucas is very people-friendly, but the shelter doesn't have a history of him with other animals yet, so if you have another dog, you may want to bring him with you to meet Lucas.

Lucas LOVES toys and expects to be treated like a KING in his next home. Could that be with you? If you're interested in learning more, please call 732-440-1536 to schedule an appointment to speak with an adoption team member.

Due to COVID-19 the Monmouth County SPCA is doing their best to keep everyone safe and healthy by scheduling adopters to meet dogs by appointment only and limiting the amount of visitors back in the adoption center at one time.
