Here are some of the great things happening in Monmouth and Ocean Counties this weekend, Nov. 15th - 17th, 2013:

-- From Tragedy to Triumph. A concert to help Restore the Shore featuring the Garden State Philharmonic is taking place Saturday night at 8 pm at the Strand Center for the Arts on Clifton Ave. in Lakewood. This show is for all ages, using music to capture emotions, from the lows to the highs, with an orchestra and symphony. Click here for details.

-- Evita is playing at the Algonquin Arts Theatre on Main Street in Manasquan Friday and Saturday nights. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's musical is the story of Eva Peron, the ambitious young starlet turned First Lady of Argentina. Featuring the iconic song "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina."  This show is kid friendly - recommended for ages 10 & up.

-- Family Relay Night: Pre-register now to take your family out for a fun evening of games, relay races and contests. Prizes will be given out and refreshments served. Saturday,, 6 - 8 pm, ages 4 and older. $15 per person at the Recreation Center in Point Pleasant. Click here for details.
