The Rechnitz family started Two River Theater Company in Red Bank in 1994. It has since become a mainstay in Red Bank.

Robert and Joan Rechnitz's son Adam is the owner of Triumph Brewing Company and wants to make his mark in Red Bank. Speaking to APP, he said he likes the west-side of the town and it's "funkier vibe."

Rechnitz's newest brewpub will serve as the anchor tenant of the West Side Lofts, a five-story commercial and residential building already rising on a 2-acre construction site that forms a horseshoe around Danny's Grill & Wine Bar on Bridge Avenue off West Front Street. Outside, the building will feature a West Coast-inspired design. Inside, it will offer one- and two-bedroom finished lofts, two-story townhouses, three-story live/work apartments with private roof decks, and 25,000 square feet of retail space.

Construction on the brewpub will begin around mid-September with an anticipated opening date set for about June 2015. Between the brewery and restaurant, it will occupy 12,000 square feet on the first and second floors in the southwestern corner of the building. It also will create roughly a dozen full-time jobs and 60 to 80 part-time jobs, including a brewer's apprentice, head chef, restaurant managers, two or three sous-chefs and wait staff.

"I've lost count (of) the number of different styles of beer that we've brewed over the years, but (it's) well in excess of 100," said Rechnitz, a brewer himself, who still needs to finalize his newest brewpub's beer prices. "We try to put an emphasis on a lot of German styles, a lot of German lagers, particularly pilsners. ... We'll have a bunch of English-style ales from India pale ales to porters and stouts."
