This weekend I had the privilege of attending a wonderful ceremony in Toms River as we honored veterans at the holidays.

Wreaths Across America once again choose Toms River to host an event here in Ocean County. St. Joseph’s RC Church hosted the event at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.

According to Andrew Anderson….”His In-laws Charles and Carol Koch, are the organizers. With Father Scott's blessing, they contacted Wreaths Across America and petitioned for St. Joseph's Cemetery to become a Wreaths Across America cemetery after their son, MAJ Charles J. Koch USMC lost his life while serving our country back in 2013.” Thank you to the Koch’s. 🙏🏻

Thanks to everyone who came out on a chilly Saturday to “remember, honor, teach”

  • Remember: Our Fallen U.S. Veterans
  • Honor: Those Who Serve
  • Teach: Your Children The Value of Freedom

This year we honored the men and women of the US Army, US Marine Corps, US Navy, US Air Force, US Space Force (Added This Year), US Coast Guard, US POW/MIA

Was great to see so many from the community come out for todays holiday event and honor our heroes. Families, seniors, teens and children all coming together for a wonderful event. Thanks to Father Scott and all who organized the event.
