Shira Klein is a mother of three young children, who was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma on New Year's Eve 2010. She is in desparate need of a match for a stem cell transplant. Currently there is no matching donor for Shira. We're hoping you can help.

The first step to helping Shira, and the thousands of others fighting blood cancer, is to get swabbed. You can do that at the Smiles For Shira event being held this Sunday October 7th at Dance Attitudes in Marlboro. The event runs from 11am to 5pm.

While you're there, you can also register as a donor with DKMS,  the world's largest bone marrow donor center.  Remember that eligible donors must be between 18 and 55 and in good health. Get all the details at www.getswabbed.org.
