My Motto This Week? “Go With the Flow”

You know that John Lennon lyric, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans"?

It definitely applies to us here at the Point this week.Obviously we were all looking forward to Train performing at Bar A at our Summer Kick-off Party tomorrow. However, life happens. There was a personal family matter, and Train needed to postpone the performance until later this summer.

It would be really easy to be super bummed about the situation, but hey, there's nothing we can do about it.

It's a reminder that the guys in the band are people too, and family comes first, even when you're a star. I would never expect them to show up and perform at a time like this, as much as I would love to see them live.

Matt and I are still looking forward to broadcasting tomorrow from Bar A. We'll be there from noon-7 getting you just as ready for the summer as we were planning all along. We'll be playing games all day, we'll have your chance to win concert tickets, scratch off lottery tickets, restaurant gift certificates, and other goodies.

Add to that, the fact that we'll be out enjoying the fabulousness that is Memorial Day Weekend at the Jersey Shore...(and hey, there'll be booze!)

We can plan all we want, but when it comes down to it, sometimes the best things happen when you're forced to wing it.

So join us tomorrow. Who knows what will happen. I can only promise I'll enjoy every second of it, and I encourage you to do the same.
