Liz is fighting a cold this week and we thought it would be a good time to go talk about some myths about cold and flu.

Chicken Soup- Myth or actually helpful?  Chicken soup is good and makes us feel good, but does it actually help? Health.com says maybe. Some research suggests that it could relieve inflammation. Can't hurt to try!

Starve a fever, feed a cold- True or False? Experts say force feeding someone who is not hungry when they have a cold doesn't help at all, but they do say you should be getting enough calories and definitely enough fluids.

Wearing garlic keeps a cold away- True or False?  Garlic can definitely help fight inflammation and build your immunity, but health.com says to stop wearing it and start eating it! Wearing garlic has no health benefits, but eating a clove or two a day is recommended.
