The Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk is taking place this Saturday, June 7th at Monmouth University.

Nicole Tuscano, who joined us once again on the morning show today, lost her mom to pancreatic cancer in 2008, has been organizing it since 2010, and the event has been growing ever since.

The walk starts at 10:00am with registration beginning at 8:30am at Monmouth University in West Long Branch and features a 2 mile walk, which is stroller and handicap accessible.

The event has raised close to $400,000, with the money raised going to the Lustgarten Foundation. The mission of the Lustgarten Foundation is to "advance the science related to the diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of pancreatic cancer".

Get all the information on this event and how you can get involved by visiting the Monmouth County Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk website.
