The Jersey Shore is at an important crossroad in the rebuilding process after Hurricane Sandy. Last Wednesday marked 100 days since the storm. Today marks 100 days until Memorial Day Weekend, the unofficial start to the summer tourism season at the Jersey Shore...

Anyone else sick of the snow, the cold, and everything about winter? I sure am, which is why I'm very excited to announce that today marks a very important milestone in the year.

The progress of restoring the shore has been nothing short of incredible. Businesses in the hardest hit areas are rebounding bigger and better than ever. Now, a legendary Seaside Heights bar is set to open its doors.

It seems like just yesterday. The devastation of the place we love and the place we call home. Those first pictures that made us all feel like it would never be the same. And while it won't ever be the same, signs of progress make us feel better, and maybe even good. The opening of Jenkinson's, just days away, makes me feel good.

Last night's Restore The Shore Wine Tasting at Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale was an amazing success. Thank you so much for coming out to a great event and for supporting an awesome cause. It was a night that featured great entertainment, a terrific auction and of course the incredible variety of 180 different wines and spirits...

Point Beach and Bay Head are just two of the many towns along the Jersey Shore that are sobering reminders of just how much work lies ahead of us in the wake of Sandy, and how important it is for us to stay Jersey strong.

This time of year a lot of college students are planning Spring Break vacations to places like Cancun, Miami, and Cabo... But some will be spending their time here at the not-so-tropical Jersey Shore helping Sandy-ravaged towns to get back on their feet.

Amidst the stories of rebuilding along the Jersey Shore there is a harsh reality. There are many of our neighbors all over the Jersey Shore who still desperately need our help.

Governor Christie was in Belmar today as a huge step is taken to rebuild and restore part of our shore.

Businesses and homes weren't the only places damaged by Hurricane Sandy. A lot of local schools were destroyed and need help to get everything back together for our kids.

It's been 68 days since Hurricane Sandy tore our lives apart. People are hurting and in need of money and resources to rebuild their lives...and the government has yet to pass the Sandy relief bill. And they shouldn't. Yet.
