We hear quite frequently about Asbury Park and Red Bank as great dining destinations, but now there's a new list of towns getting cred for having some of the best restaurants!

NJ.com has updated its culinary food map, giving recognition to Keyport, Belmar, Bradley Beach, and Point Pleasant Beach as a foodie destination. Here's their list, (along with my comments in parenthesis.)

In Keyport, shout-outs go to the Broad Street Diner, Old Glory Kitchen & Spirits, Drew's Bayshore Bistro (This place has been on my bucket list for years), Keyport Fishery (A staple for many, many years), and Mike's Giant Sized Submarine Subs.

In Belmar, kudos go to Simply Southern, Jersey Shore BBQ (Love it there), Hoagitos (Yum), Sonny's Grille, 10th Ave Burrito (Hands-down my fave Mexican restaurant),  Kotta Sushi Fusion, Relish, Brandl (This also has been on my bucket list for years), and JB Couture Cupcakes. (Restaurants I would add are Marina Grille and Klein's for food and the view, Mr. Shrimp, and Strollo's for the BEST Italian ices.)

In Bradley Beach, recommended eateries include Del Ponte's Bakery (I've never been!), Vic's Italian Restaurant (A local fave for years), The Buttered Biscuit (Really lives up to its yummy name), Citrico's, and Bamboo Leaf (I have always wanted to try their Thai. One restaurant I would add is Luna Verde for fresh vegan food.)

And in Point Beach, recommended places for great food include Joe Leone's Italian Specialties (No one would disagree!!!), Frankie's Bar & Grill (Absolutely!), Spano's Ristorante Italiano (Of course!), Broadway Bar & Grill, Red's Lobster Pot (Amazing for both seafood AND that view), Spike's Fish Market & Restaurant (Delicious!), Local Urban Kitchen, Hoffman's (Duh!), and The Ark. (I would add a few to this list: The Wharfside and Shrimp Box -- both for great seafood and the view, P2, and The Poached Pear.)

We are so lucky to live among these towns and have easy access to these amazing restaurants!
