DIY: Amazing Backyard Fountain Restoration

People throw out some great stuff. I’m driving through the neighborhood and saw this old fountain that has definitely seen better days. With a little help from my cousin, we moved this backyard fountain, which must have weighed a ton. My next DIY project was born.

Some of the blue and white tile was missing, so finding a match at the local tile store was a challenge. The inner tubing needed to be replaced and I bought a small pump which fits inside, so the water can flow out of the four lion heads around the top. After some concrete patchwork and a few coats of terracotta paint, I’m on my way to creating my very own backyard oasis. Don’t be afraid to brake for bulk trash.
