I'm not sure if this is something that should be making me bad, but it is. The Jersey Shore has been left off another list, but this is not the typical best restaurant or best beach list.

And I'm not really sure why it bothers me so much. I've never thought of this topic before, and it probably won't come up again, but, here, at this moment, I'm really disappointed. How did we not make this list?

Let's see if it bothers you, too. The list is the "Best Haunted House Movies". now you see where I'm going, right? Of course, you know the house used in the movie Amityville Horror is actually in Toms River, and that comes along with a measure of local pride.

So, when Cinema Blend does a list of the best haunted house movies, you don't look to see if Amityville Horror made that list. You simply check to see where on the list it landed. Probably in the top 3 right?

How about this. it didn't make the last...at all. How many different times, and in how many different ways can New Jersey be robbed. I'm no lawyer, and I'm not even sure what this means, but this one seems like grand larceny.

The good news is the # 1 haunted house movie on the list has about the biggest New Jersey connection there is. It's The Shining" starring, of course, Monmouth County's own Jack Nicholson.

That is some consolation, but everyone in ocean County should be unhappy about this. That, or I need to start drinking decaf.
