Our precious Point Pet of the Week deserves his forever home. Read on.

Capone came into the Monmouth County SPCA when his owner lost his home and they had been living in their car for a month. When no chance of housing that would allow a dog was on the horizon, Capone had to be surrendered.

This dog was lucky to finally come to the MCSPCA so that he could have a warm bed, food, love, and a chance at a forever home.

Capone is a 9 year old that has so much love to share. He is kind, loving, smart and playful. Won't you please give this dog a second chance, and a forever home?

There is also a wonderful luncheon being held this Sunday, March 2, 2013, from 1 - 4 pm, that you are invited to attend to help raise money for the Monmouth County SPCA's Pittie Project, to help spay and neuter Pit Bulls. It's being held at the Hamilton Fire House's Banquet Hall on Jumping Brook Road in Neptune, by the Ocean County Bully Group, which also wants to help with the MCSPCA Pitte Project. Pit Bulls, and all forms of Pit mixes, make wonderful, loyal, loveable family pets (after all, a Pittie was the Little Rascals' dog and used to be America's most popular pet) and the word needs to spread that the only 'dangerous' Pit Bull is one placed in the hands of a cruel person that trains their dog to fight. Let's help save these amazing dogs and give them forever homes!!! Those who have owned one, like me, will vouch for their excellence around children and other pets, too! These are truly loveable, teddy bear dogs!
