Are You Ready For Some Football?

Local summer is here. Cooler weather has arrived.  And now the footballs are about to fly. Football season has arrived.

We have everything you need to know whether you're a Giants, Jets or Eagles fan.So when does it all kick off? Here's a look at each team's first game...

NY Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys Sunday, September 8th, 4:25pm.

NY Jets vs. Buffalo Bills, Sunday, September 8th, 1:00pm.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins, Sunday, September 8th, 1:00pm.

You can get the rest of the season schedules for all the local teams at the Giants, Jets and Eagles websites. Now it's time for my first annual predictions for the local squads. These are made solely by me with absolutely no expertise involved. Just a gut feeling from a fan.

Eagles...10-6

Jets...10-6

Giants 6-10

And I call myself a Giants fan. I think the Eagles and Jets are lined up for really good seasons, while the Giants will struggle until their quarterback transition is complete. (sorry Eli lovers, that's just how I feel).

So, hopefully it will be an exciting season, and there is nothing more that I hope for than the Giants to prove me 100% wrong. But I am not holding my breath.
