Asbury Park Restaurant Tour 2015 This Weekend

It's a good week to be a foodie, with tons of great events happening in our area, and it continues Sunday with the 4th Annual Asbury Park Restaurant Tour!

The 2015 Restaurant Tour takes place this Sunday, April 26th from noon-4 p.m. at more than 25 restaurants and cafes throughout Asbury Park!

It's an awesome way to try food from some of the best restaurants here at the Jersey Shore. Basically, you go around to each participating location and try little samples of yummyness!

Some of the participating locations include:

• Asbury Festhalle & Beirgarten
• Asbury Park Roastery
• Bank on Mattison
• Brando's Citi Cucina
• Confections of a Rock$tar
• Cubacan
• Langosta Lounge
• Stella Marina
• Taka

and so many more!

Wristbands for the event are $30, and can be purchased in advance HERE or in limited amounts at the check in-tent on the day of the event.

Check-in will start at 11:30 a.m. at Press Plaza at 600 Cookman Ave. (at the intersection of Emory St.)

Once you get your wristband, you'll get the tasting map and directions to each place and other goodies. You can walk from place to place, or take advantage of the free looping tour transportation.

You might also win some prizes from the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce, including an AP seasonal beach badge!

Restaurant tours are a great way to expose yourself to new places that you might not otherwise try (and as of right now, the forecast is looking perfect for it -- partly cloudy and a high of 65!)
