Bayville’s Samantha Barrow is our Warrior of the Week

Townsquare Media and the Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation are teaming up to salute our local heroes with our Warrior of the Week program.

Congratulations to Bayville's Samantha Barrow, our Warrior of the Week for the week of August 12th, 2019.

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Samatha E. Barrow graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Barrow is the daughter of Maria and James Barrow of Bayville.

She is a 2014 graduate of Central Regional High School and earned a bachelor's degree in 2018 from the University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut.
