On Thursday, September 9th I will be competing in the Custom X Men's Bodyboarding Open. I will be decked out in Blue Moon swag going up against some of the world's greatest bodyboarders. The waves are going to be MASSIVE!!! I hope all of you can come out and root me on, I am going to need it. I will be competing Thursday morning from 9 am-Noon. On Friday, September 10th "Hang 10" with me at Joe's Surf Shack in Belmar. There will be LIVE music by Anthony Lee Loops & The Thunder Heard. Every 10 minutes from 5-7 pm, I will have your chance to win one-of-a-kind Blue Moon swag! One lucky winner will take home a $300 Blue Moon surfboard! The party doesn't stop! On Saturday, September 11th Blue Moon and I will be stopping by some of the Jersey Shore's hottest hangouts. From 1-2 pm we will be at Pig and Parrot Sandbar in Brielle, from 3-4 pm we will be at the Salty Whale in Manasquan, from 4:30 - 5:30 pm we will be at Reef and Barrel in Manasquan, and from 6-7 pm we will be partying at 10th Ave. Burrito! At all locations, you will be able to enjoy Blue Moon specials, win prizes, and a few of you will take home $300 Blue Moon surfboards!

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
