American Bar & Grille is set to open this month inside Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, in the restaurant space long occupied by Wolfgang Puck.

And, if you're someone who favors a modern, sophisticated but casual kind of grilled cuisine, you'll want to check it out.

If you recall the former Wolfgang Puck restaurant at Borgata, there was a more casual dining section closer to the casino floor, with more upscale seating and finer cuisine towards the back (behind the bar area). Well, American Bar & Grille will have a diverse setup as well, Courier Post reports.

The main dining room will open up to the casino floor. There will be a private, more intimate dining area catering to private events and parties, and a 'chef’s table' with close proximity to the kitchen for a bird's eye experience.

For guests who prefer something more casual, there's a bar that seats 17 near the front of American Bar & Grille. There'll even reportedly be an open-flame, wood-burning pizza oven with an outdoor barbecue motif for you to ogle.

So, what's on the menu? Some interesting options, that's for sure! Selections like housemade sausages with pretzel and mustard, Caramelized Jersey Corn, and the 'Butcher’s Pizza' made with San Marzano tomatoes already have my mouth WATERING.

The bar will also feature a large selection of locally crafted beers and specialty cocktails like the Jersey Blueberry Mule.
