Burger King Will Be Selling $1 Tacos – Will You Try Them?

Call me crazy but the words "Burger King" and "tacos" in the same sentence doesn't sit all that well with me.

The taco will have seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce and a savory taco sauce all inside a crunchy tortilla.

“We’ve seen success with tacos in our West Coast restaurants and knew it was time to bring this west coast favorite nationwide,” said Chris Finazzo, president of the Burger King Corporation in North America. “The Crispy Taco adds variety to our snacking items and truly hits the spot.”

Now I am not gonna lie. I'm skeptical.

Burger King has been rather adventurous these days. It wasn't too long ago that the fast food chain announced their plant-based "Impossible Burger!"

The line that comes to mind is: "You're meant to do what you can do best," meaning that it is better to thrive in areas that you are an expert as opposed to only being okay at a variety of things. I am worried that is what Burger King is trying to do.

Would you dare to try fresh shellfish at a Mexican restaurant? I think not.
