Check out this video of George walking on the wheel! He's our Point Pet of the Week.

George was found as a stray and was brought to the Monmouth County SPCA (MCSPCA). When he was given a medical exam, the vet discovered that he had a hip injury. They think he was hit by a car and had been dealing with an injury that was never properly treated.

He was given surgery to correct his hip problem after the wonderful people at the MCSPCA raised the $700 needed to pay for the operation.

Now George is all better. He loves to run and jump and play like crazy! He is a very active boy. He lives in the gazebo and actually runs on the big hamster/cat wheel, showing off for everyone.

Goerge likes to rough house with his kitty friends, so if you have another cat, please make sure it doesn't mind wrestling and playing pounce and tag with George!

George also loves to be pet, but he doesn't like to be held because he doesn't like to sit still for very long.

George likes to run and play so much that he gets antsy when he's bored. So if you have a safe and secure yard for George to play in, he would be happy being an indoor/outdoor kitty.

Since he thrives on activity, please come meet George if you're looking for a fun-loving, athletic and energetic 2-year old cat...especially if you already have a playful cat or two that he can run around with! He'd love to have playmates.
