I spent a morning at Circle Hyundai to really get to know the staff and get to know them.

Lionel from Neptune has been in the auto business for 19 years. His last year at Circle Hyundai has been a game-changer. I asked him why Circle Hyundai is different from the other dealers in the area. He said it’s all about the family atmosphere. Lionel added that many of his customers have become friends who come over to his place for BBQs.

Hailey from Eatontown has been on Team Circle Hyundai for two years and finds her job extremely rewarding. Hailey told me that for her it’s not just getting a customer in a new car; it’s making them feel happy and excited about the process. Recently she had a customer purchase a Hyundai Sonata and literally do the happy dance out of finance. There often are tears of joy at Circle Hyundai.

Justin from Keyport really values Circle Hyundai’s commitment to the community as an employee. He summed up Circle Hyundai’s mission very well by saying that Circle “sells cars with a purpose.” When Circle Hyundai makes a promise to the community, they follow through. It’s those deep roots in the community that set Circle apart from “the other guys.”

Vince from Wall, who has been with Circle for 21 years, has grown up with the DeFelice Family. With all of his experience in the same showroom, Vince loves seeing generations of families come back to purchase vehicles. A first-time driver gets a starter car and before you know it, their child is 17 and looking for a new ride.

Mona from Englishtown started with the Circle Family after being a manager in retail and working in theater. When she went to interview at Circle, she immediately felt the warm and family-focused atmosphere. She’s been at Circle for 7 years. Going the extra mile for customers is what Mona mentioned to me. It’s not uncommon for Circle to deliver a car to a customer with one of those big bows on top. That just doesn’t happen anywhere else.

George from Old Bridge has been the Service Manager for Circle Hyundai for 20 years. Getting your car serviced can be a hassle; sometimes you don’t always get the best news. That’s why George trains his staff to treat each customer with empathy, understanding and trust. George said in the service department, they are in the “peace of mind business.” You can drive off the lot knowing you’ve been treated fairly and, most importantly, that you’re safe.

Nyla from Ocean Township saw an opening to be a receptionist at Circle Hyundai on Indeed. With only experience in retail, she decided to walk in and apply. This is her first week on the job and loves the supportive family atmosphere. Nyla told me she always wants to get customers honest answers no matter how chaotic it gets. She is also going to NJIT for computer science.

It’s a diverse team with lots of personality. It won’t surprise me if you, too, end up making a new friend after you purchase your vehicle. Start shopping online at circlehyundai.com or stop by 641 Shrewsbury Ave., Shrewsbury, to experience it yourself.
