You may soon have another option of where to get tested for COVID-19 and I will admit, this idea is pretty creative.

Thanks to QuestCap, there will soon be 165 test cubes or test pods (whatever you want to call them) that will be set up across the country and three test pods have been confirmed for the Jersey Shore.

It looks like all of these portable testing centers will be set up at three Jersey Shore shopping centers -- Jackson Premium Outlets in Jackson, Jersey Shore Premium Outlets in Tinton Falls and Ocean County Mall in Toms River.

The test pods are expected to arrive by October 15th, will be 8 ft. X 8 ft. and they cost anywhere between $1,500 to $35,000 to make.

According to Tim Shelburn, QuestCap's U.S. manager for cubes, these test pods, "will be staffed by three technicians that will administer the FDA and EAU approved serology or antibody test via a finger-prick blood sample."

Tests can be examined digitally by a lab in California from these cubes so test results will be given to the patient on the same day. The cost is $59.

These pods are expected to be able to handle 15 tests per hour and they will be open 7 days a week for 10 hours a day.

Just keep in mind that the antibodies that are used to test the presence of COVID-19 usually don't become detectable until one to three weeks after COVID-19 symptoms present.

This new system is quick and will definitely get a lot more people tested which is exactly what we need.

Don't feel like going to the doctor's office or hospital? Just go to the mall to stop and get a test before you start shopping.

It's kind of genius because now a lot of people will have no excuse as to why they have not been tested yet.

Love this idea. LOVE IT.
