Boosters Required For These New Jersey Schools
Well this holiday break really hit us over the head with COVID didn't it? I'm not surprised that we have some more colleges and universities that have decided to not only require being fully vaccinated, but they are also requiring boosters to attend school in person.
This is a sensitive topic for sure but facts are facts so these are the schools that are requiring boosters for everyone on campus.
If you don’t have your booster don’t show up to:
Princeton University
Rutgers University
Drew University
New Jersey Institute of Technology
Stevens Institute of Technology
St. Peter’s University
Caldwell University
Saint Elizabeth University
Felician University
Montclair State University
Ramapo College of New Jersey
This has been a whirlwind of cases…I know more people that have had it in my world than have not. Is that a good thing? Will that take us to the glorious and seemingly unattainable heard immunity we keep hearing about? Omicron is supposed to reach it’s height within just a few weeks which is nerve-wracking because I know people who have had COVID more than once. Maybe we will all be better off from this surge? Well hopefully so, but students will still have to get boosted.
I can't wait for this all to be over so we can stop yelling at each other and so we breath again. I remember watching the news and seeing people in other countries wearing masks and I thought, "oh how sad, that is no way to live" I still feel that way. That's why I'm wearing my mask, so one day I can stop.
