Cures for Oily Hair at the Crown
Sometimes hair can really drive you crazy. Jean writes in on behalf of her daughter, who is having trouble with her hair getting oily at the crown.
Salon Kokopelli co-owner and hairstylist Mary Ball has a couple of suggestions and solutions with this week's beauty secret!
Mary says there are a few factors that could influence things here. If Jean's daughter is going through puberty, hormones are a big factor.
It could also be a matter of the type of shampoo being used. Mary says the pH levels of drugstore shampoos can be too high, messing with the balance of natural oils of the scalp, and overstimulating oil glands.
