So this spring are you seeing a rabbit “baby” boom? Now we know rabbits like to multiply, but it just seems that this spring I am seeing a lot more rabbits and baby bunnies then in the last few years….

According to Google “If your rabbit is nesting, it will most likely give birth within a week and if your rabbit begins to pull its fur out, anticipate that the babies will be born within the next day or two. Most rabbits give birth at night, so be prepared to wake up to a litter of rabbits.”

In the pictures below, in my photo gallery, you see Momma Rabbit 🐇 nesting and get ready for the big day. I can’t completely see if she is fulling fur, but she is definitely nesting. So the process has begun.

What was interesting the other day was that while Mr and Mrs Rabbit prepared for the babies arrival, another rabbit kept going after Momma Rabbit……Poppa Rabbit stood guard and chased the other rabbit away. The aggressive rabbit kept coming back time after time. Poppa Rabbit looked exhausted after chasing this other rabbit for quite a while. I was curious as to what the story here was? Why was this other rabbit so set on trying to interrupt Momma Rabbit? Maybe if you know, post your comments below 👇🏻
