Hundreds of thousands of pizzerias have experienced the ultimate taste test.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy's pizza reviews have put pizza places on the map. Others, not so much.

If you're a regular follower of Dave's Facebook reviews, you know that there's a certain style of pie that he enjoys the most.

Bar pie.

If Portnoy stops by a parlor and they are serving up traditional bar pies, chances are they will receive a pretty decent score.

This past summer, Dave did a Shore pizza tour hitting many favorites like Maruca's in Seaside Heights and Rosie's in Pt. Pleasant Beach.

Rosie's is already incredibly busy and after Dave gave them an 8.5 rating, they nearly ran out of ingredients.

Portnoy was back in Jersey, this time to review DeLucia's Brick Oven Pizza in Raritan.

DeLucia's is said by many not only to have the best pizza in Jersey but in the entire country.

That is quite a claim. Did they live up to the hype?

Dave has reviewed over 3,000 pizzas and eaten many more.

He said "is this the best pizza I've ever had? It's 100% in the conversation."

DeLucia's got a massive 9.4 score with nothing but praise from El Presidente.

He added that this pizza is "totally worth a three to four-hour drive."

It's time to plan a road trip.
