So who is the first-ever Hawk Hero? He's a local Brick Memorial icon and he continues to inspire the Jersey Shore on and off the wrestling mat. DRUM ROLL PLEASE.....A HUGE congratulations to David Richards! We are thrilled to award him as the first-ever Hawk Hero. David is a gold medal special Olympics winner, a mentor for student-athletes, and all-around a true inspiration for all of us at the Jersey Shore. I recently had the pleasure to speak with Brick Memorial head wrestling coach Mike Kiley. He had many wonderful things to say about David Richards, now Coach Richards! LISTEN BELOW:
