Hit-And-Run Point Pleasant Teen Finally Returns Home
Emma Mae, the Point Pleasant teen severely injured in a hit-and-run has finally returned home after being in the hospital for nearly a month.
The 14-year-old cheerleader is resting comfortably at home with her friends and family but has yet to return to Borough High School for her freshman year.
Back on August 24th, the Point Pleasant Borough hosted their first annual Give Back Day Saturday which raised $15,153 to support Emma Mae during her recovery! I must say I remember promoting this event and it warms my heart to see the Jersey Shore come together to support one another in their time of need.
All at 94.3 The Point wish Emma a smooth recovery and we are all keeping our fingers crossed that she will return to school soon!
