Help To Fill A Boat With Food That Will Donated To Fulfill
I always love seeing Jersey Shore businesses and residents coming together to help each other out during a time of need.
Clarks Landing Yacht Club and The Mill Lakeside Manor are hosting a food drive that will benefit Fulfill. (formerly known as the Foodbank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties)

However, this food drive is a little different than the other ones that we have helped to promote.
The title of this food drive is "Fill A Boat With Food" and yes, the premise is just like it sounds.
The food donations collected will go towards physically filling an entire boat at both marinas. The hope is that both locations can eventually say, "We're gonna need a bigger boat!"
Food donations can be dropped off everyday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Clark's Landing located at 847 Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant or at Mill Lakeside Manor located at 1309 Ocean Road in Spring Lake Heights.
Donations can be dropped off at bins set up at either location so all parties can remain socially distant from one another.
This food collection campaign runs through May 31st and all the food will go towards Monmouth and Ocean county residents in need.
Here are the most needed items:
· Canned vegetables
· Any type of canned meal
· Macaroni and cheese
· Shelf-stable milk
· Oatmeal packets
· Diapers
· Baby wipes
· Feminine products
· Deodorant
· Toothpaste
· Shampoo and conditioner
They are accepting monetary donations as well -- a $1 covers 3 meals. For more information on monetary donations, CLICK HERE.
