Downtown Freehold’s Tree Lighting Ceremony has been rescheduled to this Tuesday night with live music from the Rock and Roll Choir, hot cider from the Court Jester and the Freehold Fire Department will be transporting a very special guest, Tuesday night starting at 5.
Wednesday, Toss on your winter gear and tag along with a Park System Naturalist for a Wondrous Winter Walk at the Manasquan Reservoir. You’ll explore the serenity that is nature in the wintertime. 10 AM
Thursday, you can have Dinner with Santa at the Asbury Festhalle and Biergarten. Bring a gift for your child and Santa will give it to them. Plus Christmas Carolers from Lake House. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are encouraged. 6 – 8 PM
Free Movie Friday at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park this week, with the feature film It’s A Wonderful Life. 7 PM
Sea of Lights is happening at Jenkinson’s Aquarium in Point Pleasant this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The winter wonderland is complete with treats, photos with Santa and friends, games, photo ops and more. 6 – 9 PM
Asbury Park Holiday Bazaar happens Saturday and Sunday with vintage and handcrafted goods, live music and holiday performances, a 30 foot Christmas tree, pictures with Santa to benefit the Asbury Park toy drive, the fireplace lounge with adult beverages and food, festive photo back drops, and so much more. Pet friendly, rain or shine from 11 AM to 6 PM both days.
SantaCon happens Saturday in Seaside Heights, noon to midnight.
Saturday at the Galleria in Red Bank, get your picture taken with Santa. 1 – 4 PM.
Red Bank Horse and Carriage Rides take place Saturdays now through December 21st from 1 to 5 PM. Departing and returning to Robinson’s Ale House as well as Danny’s Steak House.
Visit with Santa at the Historic Longstreet Farm in Holmdel on Saturday and Sunday from noon until 3 PM. Enjoy some hot cocoa and bring your camera!
Allaire Christmas Lantern Tours happen on Saturday, December 21st. Spend an evening strolling through the Historic Village at Allaire by candlelit lantern and enjoy the rich history of Christmas in the 1800s. This tour sells out fast. So if you want to get in on it, get in on it.
Sunday, enjoy the festival of lights at the Menorah Lighting in Riley Park in Bradley Beach, followed by refreshments at the Biase Center. 6 PM
Sunday you can enjoy Christmas at the Historic Village at Allaire. A day full of interactive programs and holiday activities as you experience the Magic and Joys of Christmas Past. Warm up on the open hearth, make Christmas treats, create winter arts and crafts, dance and sing at the historic chapel, listen to the village carolers and musicians as they stroll the village, enjoy storytelling, watch the preparations at the Allaire Mansion for a French Christmas, and much more. Plus, keep your eyes out for Santa, a great photo opportunity. 11 AM to 4 PM.
