The Two Times I’m Pretty Sure I Saw A Ghost Right Here In New Jersey
I'm not the kind of person who believes in ghosts just because someone else does or just because I read about in in some books, but when the supernatural stuff happens top me, right in front of my eyes, you can bet I believe it. I'll tell you what happened to me on two separate occasions in Cape May, and you can make up your own mind.
The first story took place at the Angel of the Sea in lovely Cape May, and here are the things I experienced in the upstairs room in the front closest to Peter Shields.
The sound of chains being dragged along the ground. At first I thought it was the cabin from the fence around the Peter Shields dumpster, but in the light of day, I realized there was no chain on the fence around the Peter Shields dumpster.
We also saw this very creepy antique photo of an older woman on the second floor and the more you looked at it, the more you swore the eyes were really watching you. In recent years, they've taken the photo down by popular demand.
The second, and more bone chilling events happened at Mason Cottage in Cape May as well. Here are just some of the things I personally experienced...
The movement of a very heavy stand up mirror.
The slamming of a door inside my room while only my wife and I were inside that room.
A conversation with an oddly dressed man outside the cottage who was alone. He opened the door for us with a weird greeting and then we never saw him again.
A vision of a child in the room in the middle of the night.
If you know me, you already know that I don't make up stories. So do with this what you may. But if you feel like you have a logical explanation for any of this, I'm all ears.
