Great Jersey Shore Martini Contest 2014

I was lucky enough to judge Sunday's Great Jersey Shore Martini Contest on Sunday, and the results are in!

Joining me on the judges' panel at Doolan's Shore Club were Deb Smith from JerseyBites, former Martini contest winner and bartender Chris Asay, and Diane Costa from the blog We Love Life Here.

So who created the winning cocktails?

Congrats to Judges' Choice winner Steve from Cibo e Vino in Asbury, and People's Choice winner Sean from Remington's in Manasquan!

Steve's Super Cider was a yummy combo of CD vodka, apple cider, apple juice, nutmeg, brown sugar, and an apple chip garnish!

Sean created the Salted Caramel Creme Brulee martini - butter-washed CD Vanilla vodka with salted caramel Tuaca foam and fresh toasted Caramel Crack.

There were a lot of awesome drinks at the event, and we had a lot of fun. Thanks to Jim and Jen Flynn from Jersey Shore Restaurant Week for having me there! (Don't forget, JSRW is on now, and runs through Sunday!)
