Heartwarming Story and Precious Animals for Adoption
The Monmouth County SPCA is hoping that you can bring a forever pet this spring. Here are some of the hopeful animals, a great adoption story, AND a great video of some of the others!
Our Point Pets of the Week are Einstein and Stiles, cats from the FIV gazebo. Precious cats in need of their forever homes from the MCSPCA's Eatontown Adoption Center.
Then there are Alize, Harley, and Bowser, some of the dogs up for adoption. Harley and Bowser were surrendered together at 10 and 12 years old.
Thanks to all who came out to the Annual Dog Walk and Pet Fair. It was a resounding success with 2,000 people and their pets. $140,000 was raised, and the raffle raised $24,000!
AND...five dogs and puppies were adopted at the Dog Walk/Pet Fair! That includes Cody. Check out this note from the family that adopted him: "We could not be happier with Cody! He is such a good boy! He is already potty trained, knows how to fetch, bring the ball back and drop it, and is learning basic commands very quickly. He is so loving - he loves to be by our sides and be rubbed. He gives the best kisses. His sister Charli can't be without him. She picked perfectly; they are the prefect match!Everyone keeps saying how crazy the bond is between them - it's like they came from the same litter. We are so excited to have him in our family!
Along with the MCSPCA's three adoption centers in Eatontown, Freehold Raceway Mall, and in Middletown, they will be at two locations this weekend with adorable adoptable animals:
Saturday, May 2nd, 11 am - 1 pm, at Santander Bank, 901 West Park Ave. in Ocean...and
Sunday, May 3rd, 11 am - 2 pm at Learning Express Toys, 2107 Rt. 35 in Holmdel.
Check out this wonderful video about some of the beautiful animals at the MCSPCA. It'll warm your heart.
