2 Sweet Dogs Still in the Shelter Need Homes Quickly
A wonderful non-profit rescue group is worried because they still haven't been able to find loving, permanent homes for two amazing dogs. They can't understand why people are just passing these precious dogs by instead of clamouring to adopt them. Please spread the word to people you know who may be looking for a special pet to join their family.
First meet Moana, a one-of-a-kind 2-year old Sato from Puerto Rico, rescued by Wag On Inn.
Moana is described as smart, playful, spunky, loving, and loyal. She feels better after knowing that everyone in her household is safe and well, so she does 'perimeter checks' around her foster home. Her volunteer caretakers say,
"She’s a lap dog and will come rub up and lean against you when she wants love- which is basically all the time. She gives the sweetest kisses and the best cuddles. She also loves to play with toys and will run around the yard with reckless abandon. She has a love for life but also knows how to live in the moment and just be with her people. And if you give her lots of love and good walks she will love you back with everything she’s got."
Wag On Inn says Moana needs a 6’ fenced-in yard because she loves being outside and needs the space to run around and explore. She does not seem to love other dogs as much as she loves people so will have to be tested with your dog if you have one. Moana is fully vetted and ready for her forever home.

Secondly, I am BEGGING you for help on this one: A while back we told you about an awful trend where those who had adopted a dog during pandemic quarantine when they were stuck at home had begun returning dogs to shelters once they had to go back to work. One dog who is now back under Wag On Inn's care is a sweet, precious, loving dog that STILL hasn't found a forever home. We really need your help finding a permanent home so that this animal knows he is worthy of being KEPT-- for always!.
His name is Zeus and he has such a sad story beginning with a hurricane in Louisiana and being abandoned. He is a gorgeous 4 1/2 year old Catahoula Leopard/Boxer mix and he would do great living with other dogs but is not good with cats. He also needs a fenced-in yard. PLEASE HELP.
