Help Save This Special Couple’s Doggie Marriage

Husband & Wife Senior Dogs Tara and Loey don't want to be separated...they have spent their lives together. Our Point Pets of the Week don't want a divorce :(

Meet senior lovebirds Tara and Loey! This sweet, bonded 10-year old pair came to the Monmouth County SPCA when their owner from Matawan was sadly placed in a nursing home and could no longer care for them.

Tara is a King Charles Spaniel and Loey is a Poodle mix. The two have never been without their owner till now and totally depend on one another to navigate life.

The MCSPCA describes these two as sweet, affectionate and funny -- nothing but pure love. In fact the shelter staff adores this duo so much that they recently HAD A WEDDING on premises to make Loey and Tara 'officially' husband and wife!!!
